Across its four editions, "ABBAIDA! Film Festival" has consistently adopted the horse as its recurring visual motif. Each year, the subject is reinterpreted through a different graphic approach, establishing continuity while allowing the identity to evolve. The horse functions as the festival's visual thread, connecting each edition within a coherent and adaptable identity system.

"Movement" is the core design principle of the visual identity for the 2026 edition of "ABBAIDA! Film Festival".

"Movement" is the core design principle of the visual identity for the 2026 edition of "ABBAIDA! Film Festival".
The typographic system is built from an uppercase sans-serif typeface used across multiple weights. Its rigid forms contrast with a progressive variation in weight, generating a controlled sense of movement while preserving consistency and legibility.

This approach references the logic of cinematic sequencing: static frames perceived in succession create the illusion of motion. The identity translates this principle into typography through the modulation of visual mass.

The 2026 edition takes place in 3 different towns in Sardinia: Genoni, within the "Giara" plateau, a landscape known for wild horses and seasonal wildflower blooms, Martis and Sassari. These places informed the project's illustrative language.
