Conceived for independent streetwear retailer Outlaw Store, the photography campaign We Hate Summer presents the collection and establishes a defiant visual narrative for the  FW 2025 season. Designed to introduce the shop's offerings across both apparel and footwear, the project leverages high-impact art direction to carve out a distinct space in local fashion retail.

At the heart of the campaign is a deliberate aesthetic juxtaposition: blending vibrant, high-saturation color palettes against the raw landscape of Argentiera. Located on the northwestern coast of Sardinia, this former mining town provides an unusual backdrop that allows the vivid styling to stand out.

To give the campaign a distinct typographic voice, a custom type was developed specifically for the project. Inspired by the mood and anti-establishment spirit of the campaign theme, the custom lettering provides an edgy visual anchor that ties together the campaign's messaging across digital and print media.

Bridging digital promotion and physical object, the campaign expands into a physical lookbook that pairs the photography with bold editorial layouts. Across the differnt media the photography retains its visual punch, maintaining editorial consistency regardless of the medium or screen format.

Across its four editions, "ABBAIDA! Film Festival" has consistently adopted the horse as its recurring visual motif. Each year, the subject is reinterpreted through a different graphic approach, establishing continuity while allowing the identity to evolve. The horse functions as the festival's visual thread, connecting each edition within a coherent and adaptable identity system.

The campaign’s title, “We Hate Summer,” serves as a cheeky conceptual catalyst that playfully rejects the island’s sunny beach stereotype. The photographic concept frames winter not as a period of retreat, but as the peak season for layer-heavy streetwear culture and expressive personal styling.
