Designed for Cocò, a rural coworking space and community hub situated in the village of Aggius in Gallura (Northern Sardinia), this identity project translates the client’s brief into a comprehensive visual system. Grounded in the association’s purpose as a place for gathering and shared working, the design responds directly to the modern need for community-driven environments in rural territories.

The conceptual anchor springs from the client's idea of a linguistic play: the phonetic onomatopoeia between the name “Cocò” (coworking-coliving) and the clucking of a hen (“coccodè” in Italian). Embracing this sound-word connection, the visual identity builds its narrative around the archetypal figures of the egg and the hen, using them as symbolic building blocks to express community growth, hospitality, and creative incubation within the village.

A defining characteristic of the project is its deliberate use of irony and playfulness as a comunication tool. The visual language renders the brand inherently welcoming. Moving away from the cold, flat aesthetic typical of tech coworkings and startup offices, the design reinforces the idea of an accessible, shared, and participatory environment where remote workers, locals and creatives can connect.

The resulting coordinated communication system translates this playful narrative across physical and digital touchpoints. By combining lighthearted, fun storytelling with contextual awareness, the identity turns a phonetic pun into a character-driven brand experience.
